Services de Gestion Quantum Ltée Looking for Dispatch Transportation Supervisor (Remote) at Montréal, Quebec Full Time

Our client supports non-emergency transportation services in northern Ontario and is ideal for someone with leadership skills within the transportation industry and values a family-oriented work environment.

Reporting to the Owner/President, the Dispatch Transportation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing a team of Drivers, interacting with customers, clients, external stakeholders and playing a key role in contributing to the success of the business.

Responsibilities include:

– Oversee daily operations of non-emergency transportation service, be involved in all aspects of daily activities inclusive of dispatching and administration of paperwork, necessary documentation
– Manage a team of Drivers, provide guidance and leadership including recruitment and performance reviews
– Be responsible for developing and building strong working relationships with community hospitals and health centers
– Ensure compliance with operational policies, standards and regulations aligned to the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) Health & Safety and Ministry of Labour
– Act as a champion of the business, supporting the growth and success of the business
– Provide support as required

Qualifications:

– Post secondary education in business administration and or a related field
– At least 5 years in the transportation industry (medical transportation is an asset) and expertise leading a small team, managing operations and client services
– Excellent communication skills in English spoken, written, French language is an asset
– Decisive leader, proactive, resourceful, ability to act with urgency and effective in decision making and problem solving
– Commitment, level of care and well informed
