The candidate we would love to meet:
– At least 2 years of experience in a payroll and human resources role
– Fluently bilingual to communicate with US employees
– Must have working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
– Experience with Canadian payroll
– Strong attention to detail
– Team spirit
Main Responsibilities:
– Onboard new employees
– Prepare payroll journal entries
– Assist in preparation of year-end reports
– Monitor employees coming due for health insurance
– Coordinate with divisions insurance renewal process
– Assist with any labour issues
– Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing procedures
– Prepare monthly payroll reports for the parent company
– Conduct exit interviews
