– Act as a liaison between employees, executives, managers, and HR-related partners, addressing inquiries, requests, and complaint resolutions
– Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, provincial/state, and local regulations
– Stay updated on federal, provincial, and state employment laws and labor regulations
– Educate employees on company policies, HR procedures, and labor laws
– Assist in policy creation and implementation (onboarding, disciplinary actions, offboarding, etc.)
– Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies using online platforms
– Post open positions on various recruitment platforms and manage job requisition listings
– Maintain accurate employee personnel records and conduct annual audits
– Assist in tracking performance evaluations and participate in compensation reviews
– Collaborate on succession planning and internal promotions, identifying top performers
– Handle employment verifications and generate necessary verification letters
– Participate in manager/employee meetings for conflict resolution and sensitive matters
– Generate HR reports and analytics as requested by management
– Prepare and distribute health and safety reports to ensure compliance with regulations
– Contribute to employee engagement plans and initiatives, obtaining budget approval
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
– 3+ years of experience in Human Resources roles, preferably in a regulated industry
– Strong knowledge of employment laws and labor regulations
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
– Proficient in using various recruitment and HR software platforms
– Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
– Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
– Occasional travel to the office (Dorval /Lachine) as needed
