Quantum is meeting with qualified candidates who are pursuing entry level opportunities in the areas of reception, mailroom, general accounting and administrative support. These opportunities are with industry sectors such as government, telecom, banking and insurance sectors as well these are great opportunities for individuals searching for occasional work in between other commitments, or candidates with minimal work experience looking to jump-start their career!
The ideal candidate will have some office support experience and will be well organized, friendly and energetic and have intermediate MS office skills.
Typical Duties could include:
– Greet and announce all visitors, and provide general information
– Check general voicemail daily and forward messages
– Process and log all incoming and outgoing courier packages
– Record meeting room bookings and calendar appointments
– Provide general administrative support to senior staff as required
– Ensure front reception area is presentable at all times
– Enter data (high-volume inputting of information)
Requirements :
– Completed post-secondary education – College or University
– Excellent telephone, interpersonal and customer service skills required
– Excellent verbal communication skills required
– Good written communication skills required
– Good organizational and time management skills required
– Ability to work effectively under pressure required
– Ability to use good judgment in assessing difficult situations required
– Knowledge of general office practices, procedures and standards required
