Looking for an Administrative Assistant to the Vice-President of Operations and the General Manager who is highly organized and can contribute to the smooth operations of the Administration Department.
Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support to senior administration staff dealing with operations, finance, insurance, legal and claim documentation, human resource requirements along with general office management objectives
General administrative duties including filing, typing, copying, scanning etc., scheduling meetings and travel arrangements
Maintaining and updating of company policy files and monitoring application of such policies efficiently
Coordinate with various departments to monitor electronic/internet driven programs to assist with labour control and its management
Preparing site visit and minutes of reports on internal and external meetings
Follows up on the progress and completion of tasks delegated to junior staff members by management.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Overall exceptional command of the English language is a must, especially writing skills and reporting
Minimum 2 years of business education from a Canadian based college or University in a relevant program
Basic accounting knowledge is an asset
Minimum 60 wpm typing speed with accuracy
Highly organized in task prioritization and detailed management of documentation
Proactive attitude in problem solving day-to-day issues that arise
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
Ability to multitask and coordinate with multiple executives.
Remuneration:
$24/hour plus subsidy for use of a personal car if used for job purposes
Access to a vehicle is an asset
