Account Executive (Remote position OR Coquitlam Office)
SewerVUE Technology is growing fast! We have an opportunity for an Account Executive to join our team.
This position may be either remote (work from home) OR on-site at our Coquitlam office.
SewerVUE is a technology company and service provider specializing in assessing water and wastewater pipelines. We’re an established and fast-growing company headquartered in Coquitlam, BC. In addition to being a global leader in LiDAR and sonar pipe inspection technologies, SewerVUE developed pipe penetrating radar, a high-frequency application of GPR. We’ve worked with municipalities across the globe, including Paris, Hong Kong, Melbourne, and numerous cities across North America. The Opportunity:
As Account Executive with SewerVUE, you will perform a variety of web and in-person presentations for municipalities and civil engineering firms. Your primary goal will be to sell service and hardware into the North American market.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with Sales Development Representatives to establish new business relationships with municipalities and engineering firms across North America.
- Research municipal governments and utility management agencies to target the appropriate decision-makers.
- Make presentations to potential customers
- Foster customer relationships and track progress as they move through the sales pipeline.
- Occasionally travel to meet municipal engineers and give short presentations about SewerVUE’s technologies.
- Attend company tradeshows and conferences.
- Close deals.

What You’ll Get:
- On-target earnings totalling $100K – $150K or more. No cap on commission. The right candidate will earn well into the mid-six figures.

What You Bring:
- An unrelenting drive.
- Enough technical background to understand the technology and value proposition.
- Flexibility to work within a small team with evolving processes and workflows.
- Familiar with decisions by committee and closing deals over $100k in value.
- An understanding of long sales cycles, pipeline management, and CRM systems.
- Experience presenting to engineering firms, municipalities or equivalents.
- Experience bidding on tenders and writing proposals.
- Experience with the SPIN and Challenger frameworks.
- An entrepreneurial spirit. As a part of a small team, your ideas and input will help the company grow.
- A willingness to learn.
- Time management skills.
