Seymour Pacific Developments Looking for Administrator – Seymour Pacific Homes at Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada Full Time

If this is you, we’re looking for a Construction Project Administrator to be responsible for the administrative tasks associated with subcontracts, utilities and National Home warrantees. With the launch of our residential home building company, Seymour Pacific Homes, this is going to be an exciting new role!

Your contributions to the team:

• Ensure accurate processing of the administration, drafting, distribution, and completion of all subtrade contract agreements, change orders, and professional service agreement awards
• Ensure contractual information and databases used by the project team are up to date and accurate
• Input and update construction management software
• Provide support to Accounts Payable regarding contract invoicing and act as a liaison as required
• Complete and record applications of utility permits and approvals with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit building permit documents.
• Communicate with all utility agencies and construction team.
• Preparing and submitting all reports and permits upon the completion of each unit
• Maintain professional working relationships with utility companies
• Communicate relevant project information to the client and project team
• Complete national home warranty applications

What you need to be successful:

• Minimum two years’ working in an administrative role
• Experience in residential construction industry
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and foster partnership with teams
• Working experience using construction management software or ERP
