Brief description
We are looking for a Recruiter HRBP with solid experience in managing the full-cycle recruiting process from JD development, talent sourcing, applicant tracking system administration, assessment and interviewing, offer and background check, to hiring right candidates within the target timelines and new hire onboarding, plus experiences in providing HRBP support to assigned business units in areas such as leave management, exit process, employees’ feedback survey and culture building activities.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement recruiting strategy;
2. Perform job and task analysis to develop job descriptions;
3. Post openings to appropriate online/offline channels such as job board/newspapers etc;
4. Source and shortlist candidates from applications in responses to posted vacancies;
5. Conduct screening interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods;
6. Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, experience and aptitudes;
7. Coordinate the full cycle recruitment process through the internal online hire system with other HRBP and hiring managers and interviewers;
8. Onboard new employees to assist with full integration;
9. Maintain digital and electronic records of employees in BambooHR;
10. Monitor and apply recruiting best practices;
11. Provide quantitative and qualitative analytical reports to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of recruiting process;
12. Act as a point of contact, respond to candidate’ inquiries on the recruiting process or assessment steps and build professional candidates relationships;
13. Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”;
14. Build Shoplazza employer branding and assist with online/offline recruitment related activities (network with universities, posts on social media and career site update, etc.)
15. Provide HRBP support to assigned business units in areas such as leave and absence management, exit interviews, employees’ feedback survey and culture building activities.
Qualifications and requirements
1. Proven 2-3 years work experience as a Recruiter (either in-house recruiter or with a staffing agency, prefer experiences in Tech sector); working knowledge on employment related legislations for both Canada and US
2. Proven 1-2 years work experience as a HRBP (support assigned business units or departments on various HR processes and services);
3. Extensive working knowledge of various online/offline sourcing channels such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor and other social medias;
4. Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, behavior-based);
5. Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc);
6. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Candidate Management Systems (CMS) or enterprise recruiting and hiring system;
7. Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS);
8. Target driven, strong initiative and fast learner;
9. Agility and adaptability in a rapidly growing, constantly changing environment;
10. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
11. Organized in multitasks, attention to details and effective time management skills;
12. Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines;
13. An analytical and entrepreneurial mind and strong decision-making skills;
14. Proficient in Google suite, gmail and drive, MS Office and related business and communication platform;
15. Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related;
16. CHRP designation is preferred.
Working conditions
1. This is a full-time contract position for one year, working remotely, and may be required to come to the office occasionally;
2. Candidate location – Ontario GTA (Greater Toronto Area) preferred.
