Role Overview
We are looking to add an HR & Payroll analyst to our team to support our HR needs, onboarding and Payroll.
Responsibilities:
1. Human Resources, Payroll & Employee Relations
- Act as first point of contact and resource for staff and Management to assist on a variety of HR related matters, ensuring appropriate follow-up and responsiveness.
- Responsible for full administration associated with employee life cycle such as new hires, leaves of absences, benefit changes, transfers, terminations.
- Act as secondary administrator to ADP payroll systems.
- Ensures personnel and payroll files are kept up to date.
- Review and implement HR policies; uphold policies with employees and Management.
- Proactively seek ways to automate workflow processes.
2. Hiring, Training and Onboarding
- Manage the end-to-end process for onboarding of new hires and off-boarding of departing employees including control of access to various IT systems (e.g., ADP,
SharePoint, SalesForce CRM, Mission Control) in conjunction with Financial Analyst.
- Update the Employee Handbook to ensure compliance to current regulatory requirements as well as documentation of CCHF’s human resource policies and procedures.
3. Payroll
- Validate payroll costs from salaried and hourly employees
- Process payroll and act as a liaison between the company and the payroll provider
- Provide relevant reporting and reconciliation of payroll accounts
- Provide day-to-day support to the accounting operations of the company
- Prepares and maintains accurate, complete and timely financial reporting
- Actively identify and implement process improvements
- Assist in any other area of finance, accounting and administration as required
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience with full-cycle payroll and accounting and direct exposure across all aspects of human resources.
- Diploma or degree in a related field
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Intermediate excel skills
- Experience with Quickbooks would be an asset
- Technical accounting knowledge
- Self-motivated with a positive collaborative attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
