Responsibilities as Sr. Consultant:
- Counsel students regarding Canadian universities and colleges, courses, admission requirements, entrance exams, scholarships and other information
- Provide information on desired universities, colleges and courses in Canada based on the profile, needs and aspirations of the prospective student
- To effectively follow up leads and convert them to active prospective students
- Provide face to face but also virtual/phone counseling to prospective students
- Assist students with visa requirements for Canada
- Meet delegates from Canadian universities and colleges
- Represent the company during international education fairs and events
- Liaise with university and college officers and support their student recruitment activities
- Contribute to developing the SI-Canada brand
- Reliable at meeting deadlines
- Advanced communication and influencing skills
- Developed customer service attitude
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in any subject, ideally from a Canadian university
- 3+ years FT experience in the study abroad sector with a focus on Canadian colleges and universities
- Experience studying abroad is highly desirable
