Recent graduates enrolled in this program will be partnered with a mentor and receive one on one coaching and guidance in support of their development and to help navigate their early career. This is a 1 year contract opportunity
What will you do?
- Interact with People & Organization and Talent Acquisition Business Partners, employees and managers to assist with any questions they may have with HR and recruiting programs, processes and policies.
- Support in the implementation of HR programs and initiatives in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts within the P&O team.
- Assist in the coordination of HR projects including workforce planning, diversity & inclusion, Digital & AI HR assistant tool, HR analytics dashboard, and AODA.
- Participate in HR meetings and in the development of HR presentations and training content.
- Support Learning & Development in the review of new courses and content, coordination of top talent program and preparation of newsletters on learning and development topics.
What will you need to succeed?
- New graduate from a college or university program in Human Resources.
- Graduated from post-secondary within the last 12 months.
- Above average study performance (Accumulative average > 2.5 (B-)). Transcripts to be provided upon request.
- Demonstrated leadership or initiative at school, work and/or community (extra curricular activities)
- Growth mindset, with a passion for learning
- Collaborative with an ability to cultivate relationships and networks
- Agile, technically savvy, with a knack at creating solutions
- Creative thinker with a unique ability for resourcefulness
- Professionalism and discretion
- Bilingual in French required
- The role requires regular interactions with Siemens colleagues based outside of Quebec, nationally and internationally;
