As a Sr. Global Planner , you will be responsible for leading the Sales & Operations Planning
(S&OP) process to effectively balance demand and supply to deliver targeted
customer service and inventory performance. This role will be focused on a specific subset of the business and
partner directly with those business leaders.
KeyResponsibilities
Partner with the leadership team to understandstrategic and annual business objectives in order to translate them intospecific and actionable service level and inventory targets by product andregion globally.
Set monthly net requirement with factories andsuppliers, place PO’s daily/weekly to move finished goods to DistributionCenters paying close attention to inventory and service levels.
Uses supply chain planning know how andexperience to successfully solve complex problems such as extreme increases ordecreases in demand and/or supply, coaches peer planners
Influence & collaborate with members of POCleadership team and key stakeholders in Sourcing, Manufacturing,Distribution/Logistics, Finance and IT to ensure alignment of goals andtargets, efficient communication and escalation channels, and accountabilityfor actions and performance
Own, enforce and improve the Sales &Operations Planning (S&OP) process within the scope of the Global Point ofCare business; direct accountability for finished goods inventory in thedistribution centers and matrixed accountability for raw materials and work-in-processinventory in the plants, focusing on a targeted set of business targets.
This position directly impacts customer serviceand business cash flow related to forecast and replenishmentaccuracy/inaccuracy.
Serve as an ambassador for the S&OP process,coaching cross-functional teamwork, problem solving and joint risk decisions
Represents/Leads activities related to bringingHealthineers process changes into POC and shares POC best practices withHealthineers and/or Siemens
Has broad knowledge of products within POC;outside of products responsible for and is able to take the lead at a moment’snotice and make decisions for POC business
Collaborate with Business and Regional Sales andMarketing to support global demand forecasting of both baseline statisticalvolume and unique event-based volume changes, and continuously improve forecastaccuracy
Influence & Collaborate with Plant MaterialsManagement to support the capacity planning of operational resources(materials/tools/equipment/people) to ensure alignment with demand, propercontingency and surge, and suitable depth of cross-trained talent
Collaborate with Distribution and Logistics toensure proper planning parameters are applied, execution is monitored, and newrequirements are effectively designed into our supply chain flow
Collaborate with IT to ensure global visibilityand smart reporting of inventory, volume and key performance metrics; escalateissues and opportunities for improvement where appropriate
Contribute to the balanced scorecard that spansSafety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Performance (SQDIP)
Promote a quality culture throughout Planning andOperations, enforcing high quality standards in the management of informationflow within and between Siemens sites and business entities as it relates todemand, supply and inventory
Champion the Healthineers Performance System as ameans to drive continuous improvement, employee engagement and organizationallearning; core methods will include Hoshin Kanri, Value Stream Mapping, StructuredProblem Solving, Visual Management, Coaching and Healthy Dialogue
Execute with discipline and continuously improvedaily, weekly and monthly standard work in Planning to ensure proper controls,rigorous analytics and effective decision support reporting
Contribute to the continuously improvingeducation platform that provides best practice training in Global Supply ChainPlanning

8-10years of general business experience
5-8years of progressive experience in Planning finished goods & DRP; somehands-on experience in Sourcing, Manufacturing and/or Distribution is preferred
3+years SAP experience; regular user
Masteryin Excel
PowerBI experience a plus
Priorexperience working for a company whose products and processes are FDA regulatedis preferred.
APICSCertification(s) preferred
Strongknowledge of Healthineers products, distribution network and Supply Chain fundamentalsbeneficial
SAPMRP, ERP planning software experience preferred

The pay range for this position $98,184 – $135,003 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
