Overview
SilverCreek is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst with a solid background in investment management systems, particularly with extensive experience in developing solutions utilizing the Charles River investment management platform. This role requires a deep understanding of diverse asset classes and the ability to design solutions and configure systems to meet dynamic business needs. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing financial system architecture, ensuring that investment operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Other activities and duties will include the following:
- Development and maintenance of database triggers and stored procedures
- Onboarding new financial securities
- Crafting and review of solution designs and support of project planning
- Provision of estimates for key deliverables
- Documentation and provision of end user training materials
- Unit testing, end user support, and bug fixes
Qualifications
- Charles River Integrated Management System (IMS) Expertise: At least 5 years of demonstrated experience with solution design and configurations in Charles River, including Trader Blotter, Manager Workbench, FIX Connections, SWIFT, Compliance Module, Uploader, Database Triggers, Workflow Rules, and Web Admin Configuration.
- Experience working in a financial investment management environment: Minimum 5 years of experience working within an investment organization that calculates daily Net Asset Value (NAV) across various asset classes.
- Database and Programming Skills: Advanced expertise in database technologies, including database triggers and stored procedures, as well as proficiency in VBA and Excel macros. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in these areas is required.
- Operational Knowledge of Investment Management: Strong background in the operational aspects of the investment management industry, including front, middle, and back-office processes, with at least 5 years of experience in this area.

- Analytical Skills: Ability to identify and translate high-level conceptual user requirements into specific business requirements with attention to detail. Strong analytical skills to solve problems, perform root cause analysis, and guide development activities.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrated experience requiring strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical information to stakeholders at all levels.
- Project Management: Proven ability to work with and organize all stakeholders in large projects, including managing relationships with vendors and their resources.
- Team Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams and the ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
