Winton Homes & Cottages is a recognized leader in the manufacturing and distribution of engineered wood products and custom homes and cottages. For over 30 years we have built high quality homes for families. More recently our business has expanded in the production of engineered housing components including roof trusses, walls and floor systems, many of which are used in commercial as well as residential applications.

The Opportunity: Sales and Marketing Manager
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a keen appetite to grow their career in the residential and commercial building industry.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, Winton Homes and Cottages, the Sales and Marketing Manager will be a key strategic business partner and a member of the Winton management team. This position requires an individual with a high level of professionalism and an ability to contribute to a positive culture based on mutual trust and respect while delivering results.
As the leader of the Winton sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for the oversight of all sales and marketing functions and the implementation of the sales and marketing strategy for the company. Working closely with your colleagues, you will provide leadership and guidance to the team to grow Winton’s customer base, increase the scope of supply to existing customers and develop new product/service offerings. In addition, your responsibilities will include creating/maintaining annual budgets for sales and marketing departments, reporting on key metrics and KPI’s, and building key stakeholder partnerships. You will also represent Winton in applicable trade and business community groups.
As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in business to business sales, with a minimum of 5 years of sales or marketing leadership experience. You will possess strong interpersonal, leadership and team building skills, with an ability to engage and motivate others. A self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, you are results oriented and solutions focused with a keen appetite for career development, personal growth and achievement. This position requires computer literacy with systems such as automated marketing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Knowledge and experience in the residential/commercial building and construction industry as well as familiarity with the BC Building Code (BC Energy Step Code) are requirements. Post-secondary education is an asset.
