Project Coordinator

Skwlax Resource Management Ltd. is currently seeking a fixed-term Project Coordinator based out of our offices in Chase, British Columbia.

Key Job Duties:

• Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information
• Break projects into doable actions and set time frames
• Assist tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
• Assist in preparing budgets
• Analyze risks and opportunities
• Liaise with Project Administrator to oversee project procurement management
• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
• Act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
• Work with project manager to eliminate blockers
• Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
• Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Currently enrolled in Post-Secondary training pertaining to construction background
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract
• Previous experience working with First Nations an asset.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Solid organization skills, including multitasking and time-management
• Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Planner and Projects
• Ability to maintain Company integrity through confidentiality and discretion

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3.5 months

Salary: $28.00-$33.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
