ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

Monitor aging of payables and cheque requests to ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
Assist with end of month, end of year reports.
Ensure compliance with internal and external controls and security.
Other related duties as assigned.
Providing administrative assistance, drafting memos and preparing communications on president and manager’s behalf.
Maintaining comprehensive and accurate corporate records, documents, and reports.
Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, note taking and organizing staff events when necessary.
Assist in e-commerce activities, supporting credit card and cheque payments.

QUALIFICATIONS include but are not limited to the following:

A minimum of one year general accounting experience.
A minimum of two year administrative experience.
A Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other related field or equivalent years of experience.
Able to work effectively both independently and as a member of a collaborative group.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong general administrative skills.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
A strong working knowledge of standard accounts payable and receivable processes.
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
Enthusiasm to be a part of and contribute to a growing organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
