sMedia Looking for HR Coordinator 1-year term (Remote) at Regina, SK Full Time

We are currently looking for a People and Culture Coordinator to join our dynamic team for a one-year term.

This will be a remote work opportunity, with occasional in-person meetings/gatherings. This position will help continue to strengthen our people-first culture! If contributing to a great culture excites you, we’d love to meet you!

Your Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• People operations and culture; includes HR duties such as managing sMedia’s HRIS, assisting with payroll setup, and planning/execution of team-building events.
• Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.
• Booking travel & accommodations as needed.
• Employee benefits plan management.
• OH&S management.
• Coordinate and organize company social events.
• Support with recruitment, interview coordination, and resume screening.
• Handle ad hoc projects and requests as they arise.

Your Background:

• Two years experience in office administration or human resources support.

Your Skills and Mindset:

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while remaining poised and composed under pressure
• Have keen attention to detail, especially when it comes to written communications, scheduling, and projects
• Tech savvy, needs to be able to operate in a tech space
• Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously
• Strong customer relationship skills with excellent verbal and written skills
• Highly organized with great attention to detail
• Critical problem-solving abilities and ability to meet reasonable deadlines
• Comfortability working with highly sensitive and confidential information
