DUTIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE:

· Good command of business English, written and oral

· Verify supplier invoices for accuracy

· Communicate with suppliers regarding any discrepancies

· Maintain organized filing system

· Review AR aging and contact customers to request payment or solve payment discrepancies

· Assist with monthly invoicing procedures

· Assisting with other tasks as required within the department

· Bi-weekly payroll processing using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Time

SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Highly organized, ability to manage multiple tasks and to work under pressure

· Flexible, dedicated and extremely detail oriented individual

· Accounting degree or diploma required

· Minimum five years bookkeeping experience is an asset

· Previous experience in bookkeeping, as a bookkeeper, accounting, accounting clerk, accounting assistant, QuickBooks, payrolls, accounts payable, accounting bookkeeper, book keeper is an asset.
