Overview
To ensure a high level of Retail Service is provided within business objectives.
Job Description
• Direct staff to ensure the department is meeting retailer and consumer need and business objectives.
• Resolve elevated issues or concerns of retailers and consumers as they relate to logistics, quality and service.
• Act as a liaison with other department to address concerns and assist in controlling inventory loss expenses.
• Assisting in running departmental reports
• Provide direction to Retail Service staff ensuring they implement and support company objectives and initiatives as they pertain to customer satisfaction and order desk activities.
• Represent the Retail Service department on committees and projects, making decisions for future policies and procedures.
• Work with retailers and consumers to find a satisfactory solution to concerns, balancing these solutions with business objectives.
• Address employee concerns and work to ensure that staff has the opportunity to better themselves through continuing training.
• Work closely with procurement (grocery, meat, produce) to assist in reducing inventory loses through CSR sales calls.
• Raise concerns of retailers and consumers with appropriate departments and follow-up to ensure resolution.
• Provide back- up assistance to the Manager of Retail Services.
