Job Description:
We are seeking a writer to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a knack for crafting engaging, relevant, and high-quality content tailored to various social media platforms. As our Content Writer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the voice and identity of our clients in the digital world, driving engagement, and furthering brand reach.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation: Craft compelling, original content including blog posts, social media posts, e-newsletters, and other marketing collateral that resonates with target audiences and drives engagement.
2. Social Media Strategy: Collaborate with the social media team to understand the unique voice and messaging of each client. Ensure content is optimized for each platform, whether it’s a tweet, an Instagram caption, or a LinkedIn article.
3. Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, news, and updates to create content that is both current and valuable to our clientele. Regularly conduct competitor analysis to understand content gaps and opportunities.
4. SEO Optimization: Produce SEO-friendly content that increases website traffic and user engagement. Understand the importance of keywords, meta descriptions, and high-quality backlinks.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with designers, video producers, and other team members to produce integrated marketing campaigns.
6. Content Calendar Management: Plan and schedule content in advance, ensuring consistency and relevancy across all platforms.
7. Proofreading & Editing: Ensure all content is free from errors and aligns with the brand voice and style guidelines.
8. Performance Analysis: Track content performance metrics, gather insights, and make recommendations for content strategy optimization.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of professional writing experience, preferably in social media or digital marketing.
3. Proficiency in using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and understanding their unique content requirements.
4. Strong understanding of SEO principles and content marketing tactics.
5. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Proactive, organized, and a team player.
