• Prepare credit applications for annual reviews, new transactions, as well as amendments and waivers. This includes an analysis of company financial results, strategy, industry, and competitive position; preparation of financial forecasts; and identification of risks (including business, financial, reputational and credit risks) and mitigants.
• Review legal documentation to ensure terms conform with those presented in credit applications.
• Utilize internal tools to calculate and propose credit ratings, submit credit applications and monitor exposure.
• Monitor the portfolio in terms of exposure, covenants, credit deterioration.
• Liaise with other credit teams (in Canada, US, Europe, and Asia), internal business lines, relationship managers, legal and compliance departments, back-office operations, RISQ.
• Ensure credit files are properly maintained (all approvals and sign offs are filed in the respective electronic files)

Profile Required

Profile

• You are graduated with a Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance or related subject.
• You have a first experience in financial statements analysis.
• You are proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point
• Knowledge of financial modelling is a plus.
• You are fluent in English and have good communication, presentation and business writing skills

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Toronto is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
