Job Description
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Our new Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing and coordinating HR employee information that has an impact employee’s pay and a variety of HR systems on a national scale. While working in close collaboration with the HR, Payroll teams and IT teams you will ensure efficient processing of employee data (promotions, hierarchy changes, etc..) by communicating frequently and working closely with our managers and HR team. This position is the ‘hub’ of the HR administration process and is at the heart of the action on the Employee Experience team. You thrive on providing reliable customer service to users and internal teams, putting the ‘puzzle pieces’ together and delving into detail.
This position offers a rich variety of work in addition to processing requests, such as special projects, HR reporting, internal communications and training, and working with a variety of HR system technologies supporting the Canadian operations. Furthermore, the continually evolving responsibilities of this department also allow team members to grow and to continue developing their skills and experience. This position is perfect for someone seeking to acquire experience and grow their career in the HR and/or HR systems and data and analytics fields.
Accountabilities:
Coordinating employee data processing – working with the payroll team, HR and supporting operations, ensuring data accuracy and completion, approving and ensuring the changes are reflected in the HR system.
This role supports our HR teams and field operations with data, system information and processing how-to’s.
Provides reports, information requests, and employment letters to operations and other support functions
Occasional Office Management Support: General administration support and back up for reception at our HQ office. Assist as backup with meeting coordination, catering/requests, answering phones etc.
Educate, communicate and develop rapport with internal customers and promote partnership by seeking feedback and responding to client requests.
Qualifications
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Post-secondary degree in in administration, human resources, communications or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience or qualifications related to HR, would be an asset.
Serving Clients and Customers / Strong customer service skills
Very strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
Managing Multiple Priorities
Proficient use of a wide variety of technologies
Drive and Dependability
Detail oriented
Bilingual (English and French) will be considered an important asset
Prior experience or qualifications related to HR, would be an asset.
The incumbent will be based out of either our Burlington or Montreal office (hybrid work policy).
