Job Purpose
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining relationships with potential clients by finalizing the first stages of the sales process. The successful applicant will call and email potential clients using Sofvie’s sales methodology alongside the Account Executive. Additionally, you will conduct product presentations to potential clients within the implementation plan.
Duties and Responsibilities
Initial contact with potential clients
Advising customers on service features and customization offerings
Developing effective prospecting plans using the sales methodology
Meeting sales targets set by management and contributing to team targets
Maintaining a detailed understanding of Sofvie and its services
Assisting potential clients with questions and suggest the best solutions for their needs
Ensure all requests are met in a timely and service-oriented manner
Constructing sales pitches and presentations
Qualifications
Education
– Completion of a college diploma/certificate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
Experience
– 2-3 year’s experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills
– Self-motivated
– Strong interpersonal skills with superior written and oral communication
– Confident presentation skills to influence current and potential clients
– Ability to convert client needs into user-friendly terminology
– A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
– Excellent technical and computer skills
– Solid relationship management and performance management skills
– Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in fast paced environment
Working Conditions
While performing the responsibilities of the Sales Development Representative position, the employee will be working Monday to Friday business hours in an office and/or home workspace.
The mental demands of this position speaking publicly, relating to and influencing others, working under pressure to meet time sensitive deadlines, absorbing and retaining information quickly, and maintaining concentrated attention for prolonged periods of time.
