Soly Looking for Finance Manager at London, Canada Metropolitan Area Full Time

We are looking for an energetic and ambitious Finance Manager, who is a qualified accountant and can hit the ground running. Candidates who have worked in a fast-paced start-up or SME environment are preferred but it is not essential.

We are on a mission to make Solar Energy accessible to all and want you to join us in our London based office. You will be reporting into the Country Manager, and will be responsible for all aspects of financial operations, playing a key role in the growth and development of our UK team.

Your impact

• Full ownership of financial operations within the UK business.
• Analysis on performance and business partnering with various departments.
• Preparing the annual accounts statements and financial audit.
• Monitor stock movements, valuation and forecasting for the supply chain teams.
• Assisting with the monthly payroll.
• Preparation of the weekly cash position and monthly cash-flow statement.
• Control of all compliance and tax processes.
• Full oversight and management of the A/P & A/R functions.

Your profile

• You want the challenge of working in a start-up environment and have a keen interest in renewable energy or sustainability.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACA, ACCA.
• Strong educational background, with a degree in economics, mathematics, business, or accounting.
• Experienced in solving complex problems, adaptable to change, and capable of swift execution. You make things happen.
• Meticulous attention to detail and consistently delivers work at a high level of precision and accuracy.
• You’re an Excel expert and you are willing to help other team members.
• You’re ambitious & energetic.
• You demonstrate excellent collaboration and communication skills with a personable approach, particularly when interacting with non-finance colleagues.
• Communicates fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
