With your strong accounting and technical skills, you will provide financial and analytical support to the accounting team and the company. You are meticulous, well-organized and possess an immense professional conduct and integrity that drives you in everything that you do.

A bit of what you’ll be doing?

• Assembling, reviewing and verifying invoices and cheque requests.
• Flagging and clarifying any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices.
• Sorting, coding and matching invoices and setting invoices up for payment in the NAV system.
• Posting transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
• Receiving monthly credit card statements, gathering receipts and preparing for payment.
• Reconciling accounts payable transactions.
• Preparing monthly analysis of expense accounts using Microsoft Excel.
• Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues.
• Corresponding with vendors and responding to inquiries.
• Preparing and completing month end expense posting & closing.
• Preparing and submitting Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly Sales Tax Returns.
• Balancing of Intercompany Accounts on a monthly basis.
