Soucy Looking for Maintenance Supervisor at Drummondville, Quebec, Canada Full Time

To support our growth and investments, you will be responsible for managing and controlling the performance of equipment, mold and building maintenance. You will have to stand out for your judgment, your management of priorities and your excellent interpersonal skills. Here’s An Overview Of Your Tasks

• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and be proactive in making the work environment safer.
• Coordinate and supervise the maintenance team and mold fitters, as well as work carried out by subcontractors.
• Increase overall equipment efficiency by reducing machine downtime, among other things, through improvement projects
• Implement and manage the preventive maintenance program
• Ensure compliance with maintenance and project budgets
• Support the management team in achieving operational objectives by ensuring prompt, quality service.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• BAC or DEC in mechanical or electrical engineering or any other combination of academic training and experience deemed relevant
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a unionized manufacturing environment
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing unionized maintenance personnel
• Knowledge of OHS best practices (machine safety, lockout/tagout, hot work, use of aerial work platforms, working at heights (see audit …)
• Excellent knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, pneumatics and automation
• Good knowledge of preventive maintenance
• Functional English (spoken and written)
• Results-oriented (dashboard and KPI)
• Mobilizing and rallying
• Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Problem-solving skills
