WHAT TO EXPECT

Under the supervision of the IT department manager, you will develop solutions and participate in large-scale IT projects related to the organization’s digital transformation at both the administrative and manufacturing levels.

Immersed in an environment where Industry 4.0, manufacturing connectivity, systems integration and data intelligence are priorities, you will join multidisciplinary teams in order to propel the organization’s digital strategy.

This is a role with strong opportunities to challenge yourself on a daily basis and have direct input into operations.

Here’s an overview of your tasks:

Analysis Component

• Identify, analyze, document and validate the business needs and requirements of the organization
• Participate in innovative projects and develop recommendations for improvement in a complex manufacturing environment in collaboration with the business analyst
• Lead the definition and renewal of new systems, networks and cloud services solutions
• Take ownership of complex problem analysis assignments, recommend effective solutions and facilitate their implementation as a change driver
• Work closely with departments, IT team and managers
• Manage projects and communication with stakeholders
• Promote standardization, integration and foster innovation
• Act as an ambassador for cyber security

Technical Component

• Take charge of virtualization systems and ensure their operation according to IT best practices
• Migrate and upgrade servers, traditional, hyperconverged and cloud storage
• Manage and develop networking: switch redundancy, deployment and evolution of Wi-Fi networks and management of internal/external structured cabling work
• Ensure remote monitoring of systems using management tools (such as PRTG, Nagios, Solarwinds)
• Perform all other related tasks
