Southeast Resource Development Council Corporation (SERDC) Health Services is seeking a motivated, experienced, and energetic individual for our organization to fill the role of Tribal Health Educator – Full Time Indefinite Term.
SERDC Health is accredited by the Canadian Accreditation Council to provide exceptional 2nd level services to eight or more First Nation Communities in Manitoba. We are community focused, community driven, and seeking enthused individuals to make a difference in First Nations Health.
The successful candidate will have a strong and proven ability to; coordinate, provide support/prevention strategies and services in the areas of Harm Reduction, Sexually Transmitted and Blood-Borne Infections (STBBI’s) in SERDC First Nation Communities. This position will primarily be responsible for coordinating activities for SERDC First Nation communities as well as non-affiliated Indigenous communities in the respective region.
Reporting directly to the Tribal Nursing Officer this role requires an individual who, believes in and practices the principles of harm reduction, can demonstrate strong community engagement skills, and work independently within a work plan to meet expected deliverables.
