Working under the direction of the Head of Human Resources you will

• Provide HR services to employees
• Support the delivery of STC human resource policies, practices and programs
• Process and assist with payroll functions
• Assist in managing Time & Attendance Systems
• Maintain an open door policy for all and act as a liaison between employees and managers.
• Maintain confidential employee files, as well as the accuracy and integrity of human resource information systems
• Prepare paperwork and ensure completion, including filing, for HR and Health and Safety department.
• Proposing and developing creative, HR/HS solutions that make the job easier for all parties
• Any Ad Hoc duties assigned by management

Job Requirements

• Currently enrolled or completed an HR degree program
• 1 Year HR/Admin Experience would be considered an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of relevant labor laws, regulations and practices
• Fluent on Office and able to work on other software/website platforms
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Strong attention to detail
• A valid first aid certificate would be an asset
