The Team:
We are a part of S&P Global’s Market Intelligence team that provides global pricing, indices, and reference data information services across multiple asset classes. Customers throughout the financial services industry leverage our Market Intelligence products and services for independent valuations and to support research, analysis, risk management, regulatory reporting, and trading requirements.
We provide financial pricing data and tools for bonds, CDS, and loans, as well as fair value data, equity volatility data, and securities lending data for stocks and bonds. Our service delivers detailed liquidity metrics and transparent information about pricing sources and methodologies, with flexible delivery options tailored to the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:
Implementation of financial services software using enterprise Java, Python, AWS Cloud native, and modern back-end technologies.
Work closely with analysts to gather business requirements, develop and deliver highly scalable financial applications within a highly functional Agile team
Understand system architecture and become involved in design and development, taking ownership of assigned modules to drive projects to completion.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in software engineering or exceptional software development track record if the candidate has a degree in any other discipline.
5-6 years of professional programming experience in Java (back-end, distributed systems).
Experience in some of the cloud native technologies in AWS
Well-versed with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud-native technologies such as: ECS, S3, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Kinesis, Document DB, etc.
Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test-driven development
Excellent Analytical and communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies
