Electrician Looking to Become a Project Manager

Spark Power, a trusted partner in power in North America, is looking for a motivated and experienced 309A Electrician to join our team as a Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an electrician who is ready to take their career to the next level and lead electrical projects from inception to successful completion.

We will provide training in project planning, estimating, resource management, and cost management. We are looking for someone who is eager, willing to learn, and comfortable using a computer.

What will you do as a Entry Level Project Manager Pole Lines ?

• Manage working relationships with clients, internal resources and third parties such as vendors, subcontractors, and utilities.

• Provide accurate project estimates, including labor, materials and equipment

• Develop project scopes and objectives

• Act as a point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met

• Identify and address project challenges proactively, finding solutions to keep projects on track

• Monitor project costs, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures whenever possible

Do you have the Spark? Here’s what we’re looking for:

• 5 years or more of construction experience as a Powerline Technician (Lineman), preferably as a Foreman or Lead Hand

• Computer proficient and able to learn new computer programs

• Strong organization and time management skills

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Project management experience is a definite asset but not necessary
