Position Summary:
We are seeking a Full-time Operations Assistant at our Milton terminal. The purpose of the position is to provide accurate information for invoicing purposes along with auditing of customer’s invoices.
Hours:
- Afternoon – 8:00AM – 4:30PM
Position Responsibilities:
- Attention to detail.
- Bill accounts with accurate data entry.
- Knowledge of transportation bills of lading and terminology.
- Knowledge of client database.
- Auditing of invoices to confirm all information has been captured.
- Assist other members of the team as needed.
Position Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office software is considered an asset.
- Previous experience with Customs/Brokerage is considered an asset.
- Excellent organization and time management skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a high-functioning team.
- Ability to rapidly learn and perform tasks related to the department or units’ regulations, policies, rules, functions, procedures, or processes.
- Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
