S&S Instant Jobs Inc. Looking for Manager – Supply Chain at York, ON Full Time

We require individuals with proven supervisory experience (preferably in Manufacturing environment to a lesser extent distribution centre). The applicants must have Canadian employment supervisor (both shipping/receiving) experience for at least 4 years with supply chain related diploma/degree or with 8 years of supervisory experience with high school diploma.

Here are the Essential functions:

• Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
• Strong working knowledge of MS office suite, ERP system(s)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50-60lbs on regular basis
• Valid Driver’s License
• Execution of supply chain processes – Shipping and receiving.
• Prepare shipping documents for commercial freight and exports (Packing lists, slips, bill of ladings, CI, USMCA, etc).
• Resolves problems with concerning transportation, logistic system, imports/exports, or customer delivery issues
• Pre-Planning Daily Shipment: Picking, packing and shipping skids, parcels, boxes.
• Assist with obtaining and negotiating freight rates with carriers.
• Communicating with distributors / customers to determine suitable shipping methods and delivery times.
• Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
• Receiving all goods in a timely manner and verifying against packing slips and purchase order.
• Responsible for distributing/moving goods to designated location within the facility and as requested by the end user.
• Can do local (GTA) delivery or pickups with company van (Valid Driver’s License and Clear Driving Record).
• Review and approve freight, courier and brokerage invoices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• supply chain: 5 years (preferred)
• supply chain management: 5 years (preferred)
