Position Overview
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources & Occupational Health and Safety, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of the St. Boniface Hospital, the HR ADMINISTRATOR / RECEPTIONIST is responsible for: performing administrative and receptionist duties for the Human Resources and Occupational Health & Safety teams; maintaining the personnel records filing system; processing incoming mail; and performing other related duties as assigned.
Experience
One (1) year of administrative experience, preferably in a unionized organization.
Proficiency in the use of common software including word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and email applications.
Ability to communicate in French is an asset.
Working knowledge of, or a demonstrated ability to learn, SAP (including SuccessFactors) and/or other HRIS systems is an asset.
Note: An equivalent combination of education and experience, as deemed recognized by the Hospital, may be considered in lieu of the above.

Grade XII or recognized equivalent.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
