The Job:
Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Analyst Student responsibilities will include the following:
- Daily Sales Reports
- Assist with invoicing
- Assist A/R withhold and release process
- Create SOPs and test for Finance and Sales departments as needed
- Assist Sales Managers on sales reporting
- Create pivot tables to help analyze data
- Assist Customer Service as needed
- Perform month end tasks including journal entries, reporting, account reconciliations and other analysis as required
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Tradespend analytics and reporting
- Designing and maintaining standard costing system
· Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying.
· Perform other duties as required.
· Create and maintain IT equipment list for both remote and onsite employees
Requirements:
- Minimum level: currently enrolled in College or University; Finance or Accounting preferred
- Knowledge of accepted accounting principles, practices, tax laws, and reporting requirements
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Familiar with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to adapt to and learn new software
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Ability to understand and follow instructions and apply information provided
- Read and comply with all quality standards, policies and protocols
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months
Salary: $14.99-$15.00 per hour
