The Job:

Reporting to the Quality Manger, the Quality Support Student responsibilities will include the following:

• Review SOP Standard Operating Procedures and GMP Good Manufacturing Practices to gain an understanding of manufacturing process and procedures at the plant.
• Transfer GMP documentation to appropriate storage containers
• Prepare and/or revise GMP raw material specification sheets
• Review associated documents as listed in GMP Standard Operating Procedures
• Assist the Quality team with regulatory compliance activities as assigned
• Obtain reference samples for ongoing Quality projects and document accordingly
• Collate and archive data to optimize data retrieval
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum level: currently enrolled in College or University; Chemistry and Science preferred
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently
• Familiar with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to read, understand and follow instructions and apply information provided in standard operating procedures, MSDS and other documents.
• Understanding of Material Safety Data Sheets, WHMIS
• Read and comply with all quality standards, policies and protocols including protective personal equipment such as protective glasses, lab coats, safety shoes and hair nets

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months

Salary: $14.99-$15.00 per hour
