Summary:
SJC Print brings 65+ years of expertise to North America’s largest publishers, retailers, cataloguers and financial corporations. We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounting Clerk to join our manufacturing operation. You are meticulous, detailed and organized. This position is responsible for processing assigned accounts payable and assisting in invoicing customers.
In this role you will:

• Match vendor invoices to purchase order, receiving report and packing slip
• Prepare and input Accounts Payable vouchers to Accounting System
• Process payments on a timely basis to take advantage of available discounts and respect supplier’s terms
• Maintain and update Vendor Master Files
• Respond to all Vendors inquiries on a timely basis
• Perform Vendor statement reconciliations
• Prepare month end A/P accruals
• Ensure all billing information is accurate
• Prepare daily invoices as required
• Maintain filing of A/R records
• Prepare monthly HST and Provincial Tax Returns
• Provide back-up scheduled reception coverage

And a bit about yourself:

• You have a minimum of 1-2 years’ accounting experience.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• You are Proficient in Word and Excel
• You are Detail oriented and have great attention to accuracy
