Required Qualifications:
· Post-Secondary Education in Office Administration.
· Previous office administration experience.
· Ability to work independently with a high-level of accuracy, including problem solving, planning and organization skills.
· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
Preferred Ability/Skills/Knowledge:
· Knowledge of, and willingness to support SJGHEL’s Mission, Vision & Values of C*ompassion, Humility & Harmony, Respect, Integrity, Social Responsibility and T*he Sacredness of Life.
· Experience in a hospital setting.
· Knowledge of working in a unionized environment and within the confines of a Collective Agreement.
· Previous experience in scheduling and working with scheduling software programs.
· Previous experience with payroll entry.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· High level of computer proficiency and Meditech experience.
· Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
· Ability to meet the physical and sensory demands of the job.
