As a Transcriber remote, you will play a crucial role in accurately converting spoken words into written text. Your exceptional listening skills and typing speed will be key to ensuring high-quality transcriptions. Attention to detail is a must, as you will need to accurately capture every word, including any background noise or interruptions.
Responsibilities
Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into written documents.
Accurately capture all spoken words, including any background noise or interruptions.
Edit and proofread transcriptions for errors and clarity.
Research and verify any unfamiliar terms or names mentioned in the recordings.
Ensure timely completion of assigned transcription projects.
Prioritize and manage multiple transcription assignments simultaneously.
Maintain confidentiality of all transcriptions and sensitive information.
Requirements
Proficient typing skills with an average typing speed of at least 60 words per minute.
Excellent listening skills and ability to understand different accents and speech patterns.
Strong grammar and punctuation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good research skills to verify unfamiliar terms or names.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and transcription software.
