Vocal Coach/Singing Instructor – Stagecoach Truro

With over 46,000 students enrolled in our weekly classes our goal is to inspire our students through the performing arts by teaching Creative Courage For Life®.
We are seeking a qualified Vocal Coach/Singing Instructor for SATURDAYS (10 am – 1 pm) with additional opportunities for Camps throughout the year.
The ideal applicants should have a strong training, teaching and performance background in singing. A good knowledge of musical theatre and a wide range of singing styles is a must. The teaching of safe vocal techniques is also a priority. As a vocal coach they do not have to play the piano but keyboard skills are an advantage. Teaching experience is a must. Applicants should also be passionate, positive, committed, creative, have good classroom control, and experience working with groups of children ages 6 -16 yrs. A vulnerable sector police check will be required for all hired teachers.
The job would include preparing and teaching compelling, quality singing classes and generating material for term performances and productions. Applicants must be able to put together a musical performance, along with the dance and drama teachers, work with a theme, and introduce students to new skills within Singing and the performing arts within current Covid guidelines.
