Our Customer Service team is among the most important people within our organization. As the first and often only point of contact, our customer service professionals truly are the face of Staples, interacting with customers on a daily basis via phone, email, chat and social media, the Customer Service team is vital to the success of Staples.
Our representatives are expert problem solvers and excellent communicators who are able to empathize with a customer’s situation and quickly determine their needs and provide resolution. Through navigating multiple systems and resources, representatives provide solutions that focus on exceeding expectations of customers.
What you’ll be doing:
Consult with internal and external customers in resolving issues that affect our customers
Resolve customer issues quickly and accurately before and after they contact us
Provide exceptional service, while helping customers meet all of their business needs
Apply active listening skills to quickly filter through complex
What you bring to the table:

Qualifications :
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications
Previous customer service experience required
Ability to work from home, distraction free (requires high speed internet, designated office space)
Ability to set up work from home station and perform basic equipment troubleshooting
Ability to work an 8-hour shift within the hours of 9 am through 9 pm Atlantic Time, Monday-Friday.
Availability to attend training as follows. Training starts 10/10/2022:
Three weeks of virtual learning
Three weeks of on-the-job-learning
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications
Previous work from home experience an asset
At least two years of Customer Service experience, ideally a contact center or business-to-business environment
Exceptional time management skills
Ability to maintain a positive attendance record
Ability and willingness to flex to take on new challenges and meet or exceed goals
Experience using multiple systems such as:
Order management systems (OMS), particularly AS400
Knowledge management database
CRM tools such as Salesforce.com
Contact Center technology, including email, chat and ACD

Hourly wage starts at $15.45/hr., contingent on previous contact center experience
