We are looking for an experienced Autobody Technician for our client located in Hamilton. They are a towing service provider.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect damaged vehicles to assess repair needs.
• Repair vehicles involved in collisions, Metalwork, Welding.
• Perform bodywork, panel replacement, and structural repairs.
• Repair dents and dings using various techniques.
• Prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, masking, priming).
• Apply paint and clear coat, matching colours accurately.
• Utilize frame straightening equipment for structural repairs.
• Perform wheel alignments and suspension adjustments.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure repair standards.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and use protective equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts, and labor.
• Communicate with customers, explain repairs, and provide estimates.

Requirements:

• Proven Autobody Technician experience.
• Proficiency with Autobody repair equipment and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
