Job Description We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Driver (with manual transmission experience) for our client in Guelph, ON. As an AZ Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This position requires proficiency in operating a forklift, commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, automotive repair, and handling freight.
Duties:
- Safely transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or heavy machinery.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure timely deliveries.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure the protection of personnel and cargo.
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in operating a forklift and other heavy equipment.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
- Ability to handle freight in a safe and efficient manner.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Guelph, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Flatbed driving: 1 year
- Manual transmission: 1 year
