The Role
The role reports directly to the Finance Manager, North America, and will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of key business transactions, with a primary focus on our business in the United States.
As Finance Administrator, your primary role will be to assist in the smooth administration of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes in North America (primarily the US), in particular maintenance of the general ledger through accurate and timely posting of transactions and data entry.
You must have good communication skills to work effectively with the global Steer team as well as external suppliers and customers in the US, Canada, and globally, so proficiency in English is required.
You must be confident in meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced team environment to produce accurate and reliable information. Candidates must be willing and able to work onsite in our Toronto office a minimum of 3 days per week.
There will also be plentiful opportunities to provide additional support to the Finance Manager for the North America region, and the North America Head of Finance in respect of their wider finance responsibilities including operations throughout the US and Canada, therefore we require someone who is focused, organized and efficient. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is ambitious, proactive, and willing to learn. We provide extensive technical training and support.
