Job Description:
- Provide non-CAD design related support services to facilitate wiring and electrical component layouts for mule and architectural prototype vehicle build activities.
Role provides:
- Aid ACE and PBE BOM development in identifying ELE components and components’ locations
- Tree structure interrogation for integrity, i.e. DMA
- Assess and recommend wiring routing direction
- Assess and recommend wiring support direction, e.g. brackets, troughs, etc…
- Produce dimensional documents to aid development of supplier drawings
- Interface with offshore drawing group
- Interface with ACE DMA analysts for issues resolution
- Interface with Proto Build Engineering for component and wiring BOM
- Interface with PBE for process sheets development
- Interface with wiring engineers for CAD review
- Interface with CAD designers for design direction
- Produce Design Work Orders for CAD wiring design
- Produce DCR’s for wiring changes
- Identify/specify hardware for wiring support and bracketry
- Interface with build and wiring techs for proper assembly on shop floors
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Other related technical degree with relevant work experience may be considered.
- Valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.
- Need extensive TC Visualization experience
- Familiarity with wiring processes
Additional Information / Must Have’s:
- May be College grad or some experience with Low and High voltage wring design.
- Knowledge using Unigraphics design tools or Catia is acceptable and will require training
- Min College training in wiring design or working for an Automotive company
