Canada’s largest biotech company is growing again! STEMCELL Technologies’ Information Services team is looking for a Business Analyst to help support all stages of technical project delivery.
In this role, you will be responsible for eliciting business needs from a wide variety of stakeholders throughout our business, creating technical requirements, user stories, use case scenarios, and mapping processes and workflows. You will also play a key role in the selection and implementation of a variety of business solutions, from RFx creation through to implementation and configuration.

Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Apply understanding of business analysis and project management methodologies and techniques to ensure the successful implementation of all projects
- Work with cross-functional teams and business groups to gather and analyze requirements, and support in identifying effective business solutions and opportunities for improvements
- Prepare and present business insights and recommendations as per business requirements
- Continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures, templates, and artifacts used in business analysis to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain a deep understanding of the business areas you support staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to provide valuable insights
Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, working on a variety of technical projects
- Experience in eliciting and documenting requirements for large-scale and complex initiatives
- Experience in facilitation and problem-solving skills with a client-focused mindset, establishing strong working relationships with executive sponsors, senior leaders, and business stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals, and advanced knowledge of Excel and data modeling techniques
- Ability to quickly learn about business domains and distill critical details about how they function
