If yes, we are currently looking for a Campus Recruitment Associate to support STEMCELL Technologies’ campus engagement and recruitment programs for approximately a 15-month term. As the Campus Recruitment Associate, you will build relationships and interface directly with campuses, students and new grads to communicate our value proposition and help increase STEMCELL’s brand presence as a leading employer for emerging talent in the biotechnology space. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of STEMCELL’s Canadian co-op and intern programs as well as the tactical planning of events and other engagement initiatives geared towards students and early career talent.
Duties and Responsibilities
Facilitates the recruiting process for co-op students, summer students and internships through coordination with campus recruitment offices and hiring managers (job postings through to offer)
Maintains an up-to-date understanding of key university co-op programs and work term options
Supports the planning and coordination of various events including information sessions, speaking engagements, open houses, on-site visits and tours
Liaises and maintains strong working relationships with all campus recruitment stakeholders including co-op offices, advisors, students, alumni, hiring managers, HR etc.
Supports STEMCELL’s brand presence as an ’employer of choice’ with students and early career talent
Knowledge and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years of relevant or transferable experience, preferably in a high volume, fast paced environment
Previous recruitment, project/program management or coordination experience considered an asset
Background in science preferred
