Stepping Stones Crisis Society, formally called Dr. Margaret Savage Crisis Centre, is looking for a Weekend Cashier & Customer Service Associate for Orbiting Trends.
The primary responsibility of the Weekend Cashier & Customer Service Associate is to provide Saturday cashier coverage, providing excellent customer service to anyone who enters the store while remaining polite, courteous, and professional.
Sales and Receiving Associate Duties:
- Assist with or complete cash register transactions as required.
- Assist with promotion of products, displays, and in-store advertising.
- Accept and assist with receiving & sorting donations, including pricing, hanging, and stocking shelves.
- Maintain a high quality of store cleanliness, quality, and customer service.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm when carrying out assigned tasks and complete assigned tasks within reasonable time frames.
- Greet and assist customers in a manner that models exemplary conduct.
- Act with sensitivity and empathy and in a non-judgmental fashion in dealing with all clientele.
- Maintains awareness of Orbiting Trends/ Ella’s Closet policies and procedures and ensures adherence. Support at Orbiting Trends as needed.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience working with people
- Ability to work Saturday
- Willingness to work within a team atmosphere
- Physical agility, strength, and stamina to complete all work tasks
- Ability to read, write, speak, comprehend, and follow written and oral directions in English
- Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential
- Clear Criminal Record Check
