Job #4402 – Our tech industry client is looking for a new Accountant to join their friendly and diverse team! This role requires a strong multitasker who has experience with full cycle accounting as well as financial reporting. As an international company, they are looking for someone who can communicate well in both French and English and is able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting responsibilities. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will receive excellent mentorship in this growing organization! Main responsibilities include:

• Prepare financial statements and assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Prepare month-end close journal entries and reconciliations for various accounts
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable and semi-monthly payroll
• Assist with quarterly reviews, year-end audits and annual filings preparation
• Manage cash flow and bank reconciliations
• Assist with contract administration, deferred revenue tracking process and purchasing policy development
• Assist with ad-hoc and external reporting as well as system implementation as required

Qualifications
Mandatory:
The main qualifications for this role include:

• Post-secondary education in finance or accounting
• 3+ years accounting experience, including full cycle and financial statement preparation
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Bilingual in French/English (conversational)

Definite Assets:

• CPA designation in process
• Experience with SR&ED
• QuickBooks
• Budget Maestro

How You Will be Rewarded:
