Job #4412 – Our fast-growing high-tech client is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join their dynamic and fun spirited finance team! Reporting to the Director of Finance, the selected incumbent will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day finance operations with an emphasis on the accounts receivable function. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and must be comfortable rolling up their sleeves while juggling competing priorities. Main responsibilities include:
- Process monthly billing and prepare invoices
- Review A/R aging reports and monitor collections
- Respond to billing inquiries and participate in revenue discussions
- Process bank deposits, cheques, and credit card payments
- Prepare general ledger entries and assist with month-end reconciliations
- Develop process improvements to drive automation
- Assist with other duties and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Post-secondary education in accounting and/or finance
- Minimum 2-3 years of progressive work experience
- Strong accounting foundation
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel
